I just got off the phone with my buddy who was one of the best lacrosse players in Colorado when we won a national championship back in the day at Colorado State University. He just so happened to purchase some of Jocko Willink’s Creatine and I told him that I was working on this blog post and that he should buy PROFIT Creatine.
Does waking up at 4am every morning work for you? It’s probably not scalable if you have life obligations. A brilliant marketing move when you sell energy drinks though.
David Goggins and Jocko Willink are absolute freaks. They transcend the daily grind in a way that gives us all hope and determination in the aim to remain steadfast through discipline, hard work and endurance. They've literally gone to war. They've gone to battle with themselves and overcome the weakness that we all have in our mind and in our body. This is aspirational without a doubt. But I'm here to argue that if you look to these guys as a baseline for how to live your life, you're looking in the wrong direction.
If you're an American and have never been to war, how do you bring the war to yourself?
Soldiers have a storm to overcome. Civilians need to manufacture it.
You gotta play in the playground that you're in and try to be the best in your realm. If you look at someone else's battleground and try to emulate what they're doing you're likely not gonna stack up. Most likely your battlefield is fighting a soul sucking desk job or having brain rotting boredom because you have no money from being unemployed.
Let’s support each other and our individual sovereignty instead of continuing to hype up the military industrial complex or one off rogue athletes who have already made millions. They are good stories but you must write your own. Never idolize another man. It’s about helping each other out. Help yourself be the best you can be.
If you need help regaining your sovereignty and increasing your strength and fitness then please reach out to me anytime.
